We heard there would be snow on Sunday but I didn't believe it. Sure enough, I woke at 6 am and peeked outside and saw it coming down. It was a true snowstorm with thunder and all. And we had close to 6" on the ground by the day's end. It snowed from early that morning until around 3 in the afternoon.

No one was more excited about the snow than Matthew- except perhaps Colson and Soozie who really enjoyed trying to catch the snow when we threw it in the air.
Geoff ended the day by building a good sized snowman. The only downside to the snow was getting it on a weekend and not getting an extra day off work. Oh well, beggars can't be choosers, right?

Yes, we heard yall had bad weather your way and wondered how you were...glad to know all is well. Looks like a beautiful snow. All we got from this cold front was 80 degree weather one day then 20 degree weather the next day! Very windy which made it even colder:( The older I get the more I understand why old folks move to Florida or way south to get out of this cold...even from OK:)
Man! now that is a snow man! we made one too, but it was substantially smaller. the snow was not as easily balled as the snow of last year. The best place to roll snow for a man is in the front, but that snow wouldn't stick for anything! Now I have to figure out how to post pics!
check out our pics on my blog... we didn't get to making a snow man, due to stone being ready to head inside! i was hoping to make one!! looks like you guys had fun though.
