Double-Digits & Swapping Secrets

DOUBLE DIGITS (aka 10 weeks today)
Evie Jane is 10 weeks old and as you can see from the picture below, is more and more charming every day. She is a sweet baby - loves to coo and smile. I THINK the spit up is getting better. She has had a little of the family cold - boo! - but has done much better than Claire did with that. She doesn't seem anywhere near rolling over, but when on her tummy, she does scoot around quite a bit - and she's all over the place in her bassinet. She is still nursing twice a night and we are not really on track to move her into a shared bedroom with Claire at 3 months. We have decided not to sweat it.
Those who know me well know that I am a "by the book" kind of gal. I expect things (and babies for that matter) to follow a pre-prescribed plan. I am trying to let go of those expectations, but it is hard! Claire was a by the book kind of baby - sooo easy! Evelynn seems to work on her own timeframe and I need to let her be who she is. (Kind of seems like a middle child... hmmm...).
I am pretty worn out from the two babies and the fact that I still have to get up every 3 hours at night. Hoping that a few more weeks will see us turning the corner, nursing less, sleeping better, and able to do more fun things! SWAPPING SECRETS
This next series of pictures from this morning was so fun, I decided to post them all. They really need captions, but I figured it was a choose your own adventure sort of post - so create your own storyboard for the scene below...

They couldn't be more fun, could they? (Um, sure, Meredith! They'll both be mobile soon enough - then it REALLY gets interesting!) Oh, and yes, in the pictures where Evie looks like she's talking, she IS. She was just talking and squealing this whole time. I should have had the video camera out!
