Hello October!

Allrighty! I think I am finally caught up with the pictures. It's halfway through October and we are enjoying the shift toward fall weather. It is motivation to get these kiddos outside more often, although that is quite a feat for Mommy to do by herself! Evie is 2 months away from 2 years old and is starting early with some of the challenges. She likes to determine when she will sleep, which means that no matter how tired she gets, bedtime is still a battle. She is also having a verbal explosion right now, talking ALL THE TIME and adding new vocabulary daily. Claire is still enjoying ballet class, though she still cries once in awhile at drop-off. She has made a friend. Buddy is closer and closer to sitting up. He is almost in 12 month clothing. He has cut his bottom 2 teeth (4 months earlier than either of his sisters). Now for the pictures...
First picture in awhile where I think Evie looks like me. :)

 Swing!

Not sure about always getting carried around in a pink sling, but what can you do?

Still a favorite toy for everyone - the manufacturer is correct on the 6 - 36 month age range.

Discovered the other day that she can get down by herself - terrifying!
Happy days outside!

Missed a Few

A few more pictures to wrap up September. Now October is halfway over and I will have to get moving on uploading those pics! I am one tired Momma.

Where Did September Go?

Watch the progression of Claire's artwork - it gets better as the month goes along, and it is pretty amazing on into October.
Living my dream of being an egg chef - poached eggs on toast is one of my new favorite things to make.
One of the last times I got a photo of him with his hair sticking up.
A cartload of diapers - 6 boxes! - but 2 were for cousin Tessa.
Chef Claire is cooking something up in her kitchen
 A jumping pro
 Out for a stroll
 My beautiful ballerina

Wow - I have been off the blog awhile. Sorry about that. I just realized I only posted once all month and there's only a few days left until October. Well, September has been full. Geoff turned 40 - yes, you read that right - in the middle of this month. I started working on homeschooling Claire (I know it's just preschool, but I figure if I'm going to do it right in Kidnergarten and beyond, I'd better make my big mistakes now when it's less important, right?). Buddy and Evie each had ear infections. Evie has started really challenging us with whining and authority issues, but has also really started talking. Claire went to the AU Speech Clinic, which was fun and informative and hopefully we will be able to figure out some of those sounds she has trouble with. Our lawn mower died and friends and family helped us to obtain a new one. We had an enormous (and even successful) yard sale. We started going back to church. Yes, it has been a very full month.
